2 Women in the police force, 17 years on | TF1 | Reportages
“The police, a man’s job”: for years the recruiting slogan for the keepers of the peace was clear. Few women dared to take the entrance exam. Even today their number remains limited: they represent a mere quarter of the force. In 1993 we met Michèle Bastien, then a sergeant in Montreuil. Today she is head of the brigade for minors in Nîmes. Also in Nîmes, Flore Cuny, 26, is about to graduate from the Police Academy. Two generations; two women in the police.
