This is a sad record in Europe: 60,000 animals are abandoned every summer in France. It’s simple, in most shelters, there is no longer a single box available.

The SPA teams have already collected 14,000 dogs and cats this summer.  Overwhelmed, tired, and moved by this situation, caregivers and volunteers are mobilizing 100% to allow them to find a family as soon as possible.

One day, a doc invites you to the heart of the refuge of Yvré-L’Évêque, 15 minutes from Le Mans (Sarthe) during a crucial return for the SPA teams.

You will experience the joy of families meeting their new companion and the happiness of animals finding a home.

You will also discover the touching commitment of those who work in a shelter. Care, attachment, and sometimes their punishment in case of reported abuse. But also their concern to find THE right adoptive family: less than 4% of animals adopted at the SPA return!
