On April 17 1991, 6 year-old Sarah is found strangled in a wood at Voreppe in the Isere. She has been subjected to a violent sexual assault. 5 years later, in the very same town, 10 year-old Saida is also strangled. Investigators are convinced the same man has committed the double murder and that he probably knew the two girls. And yet it is only this summer, 22 years after the events, that they will arrest the presumed guilty man: a 37 year-old, who, up till his arrest, was still a close friend of the victims’ families.
