Disability : investigation into a french scandal | France 2 | Cellule de crise
There are more than two million disabled people in France. All of them claim the same rights as the others in terms of schooling, employment accommodation and medical care. The 2005 law strengthened measures for more inclusion of these citizens, who are too often written off. The plan relating to autism announced in May 2008 also promises increased measures for medical care. But there’s often a world of difference between the words and reality. Our team studied the daily lives of disabled people. These people, and their families, spoke to the camera. Over the years a profound sense of injustice has been established.
