The manager of this company is said to head up several other companies specializing in emergency repairs. Currently in custody, he is suspected of scamming 170 victims in the Paris region. But this is not his first time. Already convicted in 2018 for abuse of weakness and deceptive business practices, some sixty elderly people have paid the price for this swindler: over-billing, invented work, botched repairs or not carried out at all. For this scammer, the most important thing was to cash the cheque. Some very elderly victims even died before they could be compensated.
