After 4 years of investigation, is this (finally) the end of the Muller murder mystery ? Savagely murdered in the middle of the night in 2019, Jean-Claude and Sylvaine Muller, a couple in their fifties from Bordeaux, were found by Margaux, their then 24-year-old daughter. After years of investigation and over 500 hearings, the case had come to a standstill… at least, until last Wednesday! Confronted with DNA traces found under Sylvaine Muller’s fingernails, David Daouphars, their neighbor across the street, confessed to the double murder. As to the motive, Daouphars has so far refused to give any clues… But then, how can such an act be explained ? Did the Mullers have a problem with their neighbor? Was it revenge ?
