LARGE FAMILIES : A DAILY CHALLENGE | M6 | 66 minutes

Raising siblings with 7, 8 and 11 children is a real challenge. Budget, rules of life, organization – the daily lives of these families are far from easy.

Near Biarritz, Natasha and Ben have 8 children. To provide for the whole family, the father of the family holds down 2 jobs. And to stay within their budget, when they go shopping, they only take one ticket and leave the credit card at home!

Pascaline, a single mother of 7, is the queen of organization. To make sure they don’t miss out on anything, each of them is entitled to his or her own little moments. For example, it’s her son’s 13th birthday soon, and to celebrate, she’s booked him a day of paintball with his friends, which he won’t forget…

Josette and Gérard have 11 children, aged from 43 to 14, but they’re still full of energy. What’s more, their daughter Thaïs has a major dance competition coming up in a few weeks’ time, and the siblings are setting up their own fan club…

But what does this “XXL” family life really entail? How do parents organize their day-to-day lives, when meals, homework, baths and laundry are all on the increase? How do they manage their budgets?

Immersion in three large families, where boredom is a thing of the past!
