In January 2003, in Fumel, in the southwest of France, Guy Chavernac, a 35 year-old warehouseman, doesn’t turn up for work. His employer, Maurice Lapouge, is concerned over the absence of a normally punctual and responsible worker. The gendarmes discover that Guy Chavernac has a mistress. And yet the investigation is bogged down.
