A few weeks ago Florence Cassez, a 33 year-old Frenchwoman, was condemned to 96 years in prison by a Mexican court. Her former partner is a presumed gang leader, specialising in kidnappings and she herself was found guilty of being his accomplice.But from her prison cell, Florence is proclaiming her innocence. She believes the evidence was rigged and that her arrest was staged for the benefit of TV cameras.
