MURDER OF LOUISE, 11 YEARS OLD | M6 | 66 minutes

Not seeing your child come home from school is every parent’s nightmare. And that’s what happened to the family of 11-year-old Louise on Friday. The pre-adolescent, who attends collège André Maurois in Epinay-sur-Orge, Essonne, left the school at around 3pm on Friday afternoon, but never arrived home a few hundred meters away.

Her family immediately reported her missing, and an investigation was launched. Video-surveillance footage shows Louise taking a crosswalk at the sentier des bas follets, but then nothing! But the search carried out in the surrounding area by police officers accompanied by volunteers, drones and tracking dogs paid off. Shortly before 2am, Louise’s body was found in the Bois des Templiers not far from her home. She had been stabbed several times.

But who had attacked her? A couple were arrested and taken into custody, but were eventually cleared. Investigators are on the trail of a man seen on video surveillance cameras who seems to have been following Louise, but so far he has not been identified. So the town is in a panic: a killer is on the loose! And the police are pulling out all the stops to arrest him as quickly as possible.
