Prostitution has been booming over recent years because of the Internet. In a couple of clicks the client can set a meeting with a prostitute and even rate her performance on the site just like in a “consumer’s rating” window of an on-line shopping site. In this sex supermarket, criminal networks still run the show, in particular with the organization of “sex tours”: prostitutes operating in various cities of Europe. The girls stay and work in hotels, in Paris, for example, and hand over a share of their earnings to their network. We investigated these “agencies” in Kiev, in Ukraine.
