What if travelling salesmen were the answer? Under Covid, under lockdown, under curfew, they are still on the road! Today, more than 80,000 of them criss-cross France offering their products direct to the customer, even in their own homes. Morgane Courgeon set out to meet them. From grocery supplies, to canine toiletries, by way of second-hand clothes or food trucks, they provide everything on their 4-wheel stage. And don’t go thinking that this only affects the countryside and remote villages, because these fully-equipped trucks come knocking on doors in the biggest cities and even in the biggest business centre in Europe: la Défense.
