Sébastien Brun, a 31 year-old florist from Grenoble, thought he’d met the woman of his life in the person of Denize Soares, a pretty Brazilian. However, in 2004, he never returned from a romantic trip they made to Brazil. His girlfriend, who returned to Grenoble alone, at first explained that he had wanted to continue his holiday. But his family became concerned when they realised that Denize was emptying her absent boyfriend’s accounts. Two years ago there came a dramatic twist: Sébastien’s body was discovered in Brazil.
