On June 15 2005, Jean-Pierre Faure disappears mysteriously at Sanary-sur-Mer, near Toulon. His wife Béatrice explains to his family and friends that he has left to start a new life in Marseilles.  However, this version does not convince Angélique, their daughter. Several days after the disappearance, she takes her suspicions to the gendarmes.
