THE GREAT BUFFETS OF NARBONNE | M6 | 66 minutes

1,200 customers a day, 300 different dishes, all-you-can-eat buffets of foie gras, oysters and smoked salmon…. welcome to the largest restaurant in France!

Les Grands Buffets in Narbonne is the only restaurant of its kind in the world. Rooms with prestigious decor, staff in livery, iconic French dishes such as duck au sang; for 62 euros, everyone can enjoy an experience worthy of a gastronomic house.

The man who created this universe is Louis Privat. A formidable businessman, he has shaped the success of his establishment for 35 years.

With Christmas just a few weeks away, the restaurant is in full swing. The restaurant is decked out in the finest decorations, while the chefs, like pastry chef Fabrice, are making suggestions such as this Escoffier-style log.

Alongside Louis Privat, head chef Philippe Munoz, and newly-arrived waitresses Sandy and Elodie, we take a behind-the-scenes look at a restaurant that has won the hearts of French and international gourmets alike.
