THE TRIAL OF DOMINIQUE P | M6 | 66 minutes
What if, behind his ordinary-looking exterior, Dominique P was in fact a dangerous serial criminal?
In September 2020, Dominique P., a 67-year-old family man, was arrested in a Carpentras supermarket after photographing under the skirts of several women. And the investigators soon made a terrible discovery about this man with an exemplary reputation. In his hard drives, they found videos that were almost unimaginable. They show Dominique P.’s wife, inert, having sex with dozens of men. Via libertine forums, he invited complete strangers to his home to abuse his wife, who was drugged without her knowledge with anxiolytics… And for 10 years, the mother of the family didn’t notice a thing. Of the 80 men in the images, 51 have been identified. They will stand trial alongside Dominique P from September 2. In view of the scale of this case, the Avignon exhibition center was exceptionally requisitioned for the occasion. But that’s not all: investigators from the Nanterre cold case unit have linked the family man to two unsolved crimes committed in the 90s. Dominique P’s DNA was found at a rape scene. This case had been linked to the murder of Sophie Narme, a 23-year-old real estate agent, as both victims had been attacked in similar circumstances. 32 years on, the truth may be about to come out.
So what is Dominique P.’s true face? Why did he subject his own wife to such atrocities? Is he really responsible for Sophie Narme’s death? And could he be involved in other crimes?
