Women fire-fighters 2: One year later | France 3 | Des racines et des ailes

In 2002, the first women fire-fighters entered the Paris fire-fighters training center. At that time, we filmed four months of training during which eight young women, all volunteers, were selected: we filmed their suffering, their doubts and their solidarity which showed them to be courageous and endearing. Among them, Christèle, Malory and Sandra, three women who opened the way by showing that they could do as well as men. But for these pioneers, the adventure was only beginning. Today, members of the fire-house, they must prove to the 6840 men that they can physically hold their own in the field of action.
